WTB: Late War Internal parking brake drum and back plate
Looking for a good late WWII Spicer internal parking brake drum and backing plate. I have the correct rear transfer case cap. I would prefer an unmodified drum without the bolts welded to the rear of the drum. The WWII internal parking brake drum has six round holes, in pairs of two circumventing the radius of the drum. Later types had additional small holes and the six large adjusting access holes are larger than the WWII style more squared at the edge....just so you know.
Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance.

Sort of....you see how the holes are not perfectly round, but rather squared on one side? I think that's a sign that it's a later drum? I could be wrong? Do you have the backing plate?

Beat me to it, I have a set too, your price is better though.
Mike or Dexter, how are you resizing your pictures to work with the attachment link, my cameras lowest setting still gives pics of 700K.

Adam, I use an online picture resize website, then have to re-save the "new" picture to my iPad or desktop, then I can post them here. It's a chore, but it gets the job done.
Adam, I'm sending a PM with a question.

Adam,
When I post photos using my desktop computer, I use Photoshop.
When I post photos directly from iPhone's camera, I email them to myself using the Medium Setting. Those medium-sized photos are the ones I post here on G503.

Re: WTB: Late War Internal parking brake drum and back plate
I thought I was in good shape but alas, I’m still in need of an internal brake drum and backing plate.
**If you have an extra drum and it’s dated late September or early October.....PLEASE let me know as it would be perfect** I will consider other dates though.....
