WW2 folding table
I am looking for the plans for WW2 folding table . I want to make one. I found an old thread but the links are dead or require a login.
viewtopic.php?f=33&t=160910
There is a nice photo of the original plans on the 33rd signal construction battalion face book page but the writing is too small to read clearly.

Thanks for any help.

I think rix is referring to the link in that topic.
I hope this will help: http://postimg.org/image/tu94f3gaz/
I don't remember the source of that drawing, but it's not mine. WW2-made tables usually have tops made from 4 or 5 planks though, not in 1 piece. Check original pics to be sure.

Thanks for the help.
Tom the link took me to the 9th division.com site. There was a password required to get any farther, could you provide that info? David thanks for the working link, the drawings look pretty good.
Here is the photo that was on facebook. It looks very original and includes the dims for the metal parts. Just can't read it when it is enlarged.

Re: WW2 folding table
Maybe ask whomever posted the original plans on FB if they have it on a bigger scale, or where they came from? I would love to have it in readable format too!

Re: WW2 folding table
I have built about dozen.
All turned out pretty good.
I used some leftover materials I had lying around for the first one.
Bought good quality wood at the big box store for the rest.
Worked out to about $30 a piece including having a gallon of exterior paint mixed OD.

Re: WW2 folding table
Thanks for the plans Chad. I have built a few tables using the dimensions I had taken from an original 1943 table. The measurement"s are very close to the original plan. All 4 tapered legs can be made from one 27", 4 x 4 by using a jig and setting the table saw blade to the correct depth.
Does anyone know what kind of wood they used to make the tables?
