Unique roll bar/weapon storage

Post by TimK.43mb » Fri Sep 25, 2009 10:15 am

I bought a M151A2 three years ago which came out of Canada. Made in 1976 it went to the Canadian army for 15 years and then civilian service. I was told it was used at Vancouver for movies/TV shows. It has a single roll bar behind the two front seats with clips to hold 2 M-16s and 5 LAWs rocket launchers. My question is were these Canadian military modifications or something done by the movie/TV people.

That would most likely be the movie people or civilian. The Canadian ROPS was pretty similar to the American version.

I replied to your other post regarding the Data Plate. I mentioned some of the Canadian Mods. I have a restored Canadian M151A2.

If can post up or email me some pictures, I can verify what is legit, and what is "Hollywood".
