MB values

Post by Bean » Sat Aug 17, 2013 2:04 pm

I have found a 45 MB rust free unrestored in a barn The jeep is complete and may run with some help. Most importantly it is all original( maybe a military rebuild in the 50s) And 100% rust free!! It will need tires and canvas as that is all dry rot.The owner does know what it is and has a high price tag on it.My question to all of you is What is this really worth???What would you pay for a jeep like this??

Bean, pictures would help, but value is subjective ....see if you can get a good set of photos, data plates,numbers,...all you can...what is the asking price?

Asking price is $10.000.I have pics,But I,m not sure how to post.I feel that price is a bit much for a non running jeep That will need a total restoration.

Bean,

If the Jeep is as you describe then it is way more valuable unrestored, as mentioned photos will help, see the 2nd post from the bottom of the thread on this link on how to post photos.

Looking forward to seeing it.

With title? 8k-10k not out of line. But......
Drive line condition is a factor here, correct engine, trans, body match frame etc, all effect value.
Top bows, rear seat, correct air cleaner, military 6v generator and regulator.
Pics please!

A combination of no title, engine seized, incorrect trans etc. drops value to around $5-6K?
If you get this do not "restore" it, only what is needed mechanically.
Wish you good luck, hopefully another saved!
