Hi Vynx,
Getafe - Spain...Cool!!!
Do you know what...even though we worked for EADS, they still CHARGED us to look around the Airbus factory in Toulouse! (so we were awkward and refused them entry into the Satellite facility!!! )
Keep up the good work & the interest in Jeeps!
Guy.

Hi ,1942ford wrote:Hi Jedburgh,
That's a fabulous MB you found and a superb restoration sir - well done!!!
I'm English, but I lived in Toulouse (EADS - Satellite Industry) and would spend many, many hours driving through the beautiful French countryside looking for Jeeps on my days off - I never found one...I found many 1920's & 30's cars, but never a Jeep, so I'm very jealous of you for finding such a beauty!
Keep up the good work - your MB deserves it!
Guy.
PS - Which area/region of France are you from???
I'm live in north east in France (Near Reims)
They are lot of jeeps in french montains (Alpes)
Jeeps to be sold priority à farmer just after ww2.
In the old farms or old scrapyard they are many WW2 véhicles.
Near my jeep they was a magnifical Dodge WC52 (sold a friend at my)
