I wish my jeep was operational when I lived in the Palouse. You can't ask for better jeeping terrain and weather than the hills of the Palouse. I'm certainly jealous of you and The Heap! Keep the pictures coming.

I like your disk break setup. I wonder if they would clear stock m38 16 inch wheels. If they would I would convert my jeep over.

Thanks for posting the pics. Looks like you're having fun! That's what these jeeps are all about IMO. :D

ok, your right. Those don't add to the original look, but the other stuff does! It does drive easier with them, and I'm driving it up to 100 miles a week.

UofI or WSU? Any progress on your Jeep?

Yes! That is my eventual plan.

I took these pics yesterday, with no spacers. Clearance on the edge of the caliper is only about 1/8 inch where the wheel bulges out. As I have longer studs, I will use a spacer to give me more room. Plus my studs aren't threaded quite far enough, so I need a spacer for that reason as well.

an 1/8th of an inch should be plenty. I will have to see about doing this next year. I was going to go with 11 inch brakes but I kind of like the idea of disc instead.
