T84 Transmission

Post by Enrico » Wed Nov 02, 2016 3:50 am

Dear All,

I would like to ask you if Ford did produce internally also the T84 transmission. I have carefully read the Rifkind Report, but it mentions that Ford tooled up only for Spicer Transfer, constant velocity joints and other related power train items. Since GPW Transmissions are full of F… in my opinion Ford should have also produced the Transmission...

Can anybody help me?

Thank you,

Enrico

Ford made their own T-84 transmissions, yes. Housings, gears, etc..
