Summer of Photographs - Bantams, Budd, Tugs, T28, Ma, GP's and More

Post by Robinb » Fri Sep 22, 2017 8:21 am

Hi Guys,

I thought i would share some photographs I have taken lately of various vehicles not all Jeep related but still interesting.

I have just finished a Land Rover Sandringham 6 for transporting Jeeps to various shows not superior to the Bantam just helping the old girl out. We converted the back to be telescopic enabling the Jeep to fit and it can be stowed away for a neater look.

Awesome. Thank you for sharing. In the first picture I noticed what looks like Goodyear Ground Grip tires on your Bantam. Where did you find them???

Amazing! Variety we'll never see here in the states at any show, nationals included. That 'jeep' collection is also a wonder to behold...what dreams are made of.

If I ever get to Europe.......

Hi Guys
The tyres i bought from Miller Tyres in the US they are called implement tyres they are also on Ebay they sell 550 x 16 and 600 x 16

I do not know the history of the helicopter but the re-enactors generally are very serious and accurate

Iam glad you like the photos some taken at Fred Smith s fantastic collection

So...in a perfect world your and Fred's 1940 Bantams should be identical...as if they rolled of the same assembly line...how close are they? :D :D

Well, one of the 1940's has the rare automatic transmission I see! And, the motor pool as made a decision in favor of a right side tire failure wile the other expects danger from the port side!
