has anyone here bought parts from this guy?

Post by willys41ma » Fri Jun 30, 2017 8:17 am

ordinarily i wouldn't ask this but in all the conversations and emails it is very hard to bridge the language barrier sometimes and not knowing and spending a large (to me anyways) sum of money for MA body parts from out of contry makes me nervous. Pavel Goluch builds reproduction body parts for MA's and i was wanting to speak with anyone or hear input from others that have also. i am sure he is probably on here too and i hope i don't offend him for asking, it just make me feel better to hear good input, thank you.

Sorry, I can't give you any feed back on Pavel. Some of the MA guys should be able to chime in. It's good to see another prototype in TX. Please post pictures. Did you find it in TX?

thanks Javier, well one board member has parts ordered through him and is calling me later. i went ahead and made an order. as far as little Willy, he's been in the family since the sixties. it used to belong to my dads uncle he used it in the sand hills of SanAntonio for hunting etc. over the years it was bubbafied bit by bit, which is hard to want to take away because it does look better with what was done but time has come to put it back closer to stock. i have had it since about 1999 (i can't remember the exact year but that's close). i havr done very little as work and such has kept me from working on it. now it sits inside an air conditioned garage and i have more time and a proper space to do it right.

He bought stuff from me. So from a seller perspective I can say he is easy in communication and quick on payment.

Cheers, Jacco

Parts arrived yesterday, very nice work on everything I received. Although I don't have the original pieces to compare, I don't think anyone would notice that it wasn't the factory stuff unless you were really nit picky, and anybody that picky can keep their opinions to themselves (JMHO) hehe. Very happy! Even came primed in od green primer. Thanks to all who helped and offered assurances... he's a good fellow!

Is Pavel still making MA parts? I've bought a bunch of parts from him in 2019 but can't find my contact info for him.
BTW, I just need a set of straight frame-horn extensions with the MA style gussets riveted on. If anyone has an extra set available please PM me.
Thanks David
