Correct one for MA is extremely rare Marion. I know only about 3 originals worldwide (but I do not know about all). Most MA's have these similar to the GP ones or rebuilt MB ones to MA design ...

So George added this pic to the knowledge base, maybe once everyone gets the numbers for each he would add them to the graphic. Post them when you got 'em and we'll see.

What ist the strange neck on BRC switch manual photo between the lock system and install nut? Is it just Thread for the install nut?

Yes, those are the threads on the blackout latch housing in the BRC maintenance manual switch photo. I loosened the nut on one of my switches and took the below photo to duplicate the BRC manual photo.

Thanks.
Is it a original BRC switch on your photo or just “short early switch”?

Lad: The switch in my photo is not an original BRC switch, just a substitute early switch. I installed one of your repro BRC knobs.

In the BRC parts book, the original BRC light switch is R-10260 and manufacturer number 7130. I believe the original BRC switch was a Cole-Hersee 7130 (see below photo, not my switch). If someone has other information, please post.

Continuing with the DavidA suggestion to identify the manufacture part number for each switch, and we have identified the BRC, let’s move on to the GP.

The Ford drawing GP-11654 identifies the switch as a Cole-Hersee but does not identify the manufacturer part number.

I have read some of the old G503 posts and it appears the consensus for the GP switch was a Cole-Hersee 7131? This is interesting since the BRC switch was a Cole-Hersee 7130, one number away.

Does anyone have information and photos?

George
