GP Handcrank

Post by JIMN » Sun Jun 26, 2016 6:23 pm

As summer rolls along and I am able to attend some swap meets, I intend to keep my eye out for the straight part of the crank handle for the GP (I believe I have the crooked part) .
I did see one in a picture on an old thread, but that is it.
Being that I don't have one to know exactly how long it is, can someone tell me if it fits inside one of the rear tool boxes?
Is it sized so that when you are cranking, the fat female square taper part sits in the bracket hanging from the bumper?

7.62-inch wide when laid flat
7.24/7.38-inch on center sockets. Socket is for 3/4-inch lug nuts.

GP-17040 Extension-starting crank
20.8-inch long
