New Home for GP 16625

Post by TwoCar » Sat Nov 11, 2017 8:22 am

Hello.

Earlier this week, I was fortunate enough to purchase and transport home GP 16625. On this the 11th day of November, 16625 was delivered to the Army. I’d like to thank Brad Gates for this opportunity and Danny Pentecost for answering my countless questions. Purchasing a GP has been a long time wish of mine and these two gentlemen made it possible.

Future restoration plans are to document what parts I have, find the gaps and begin the process of searching for and purchasing what’s required. This going to be a slow restoration to say the least, but well worth the adventure.

Carry on!

- Mike

Congratulations on the great project. I have wanted one for sometime now. When I win the lottery, I may get one.

Mike:

What an absolutely delightful delivery date for a military vehicle! Congratulations on your newest acquisition and have a blast bringing this lovely GP back to restored running condition. The design, lines and proportions of the GP body make it one of the most attractive military vehicles ever manufactured. Have fun with this old veteran. :)
