In most larger towns you will find an instrument repairer/maker who will make an outer, the correct length for you, less expensively than thru normal channels. Just take the old one when you go looking.

Why not install an NOS Cable assy?

When my customers M-38A1 Jeeps have a worn out broken speedometer cable, I grab a NOS one from my shelf and install it.
Why send him around town for something that is not there? :wink:
