Was this the plane that was launched from a portable launcher, with a trolley that fell off once it was launched ??
Used some kind of two part fuel that was extremely volatile. The two were kept separate until fueling. Immediately before launch.
Took off like a Roman Candle, if it didn't blow up first. Quickly got to altitude. Took care of business or needed to, because very shortly, it ran out of fuel and glided back to earth.

Yes, but this replica is just a glider. The original rockets killed more of their pilots than they managed to shoot down. Bad return on the investment.
