Looks like the PIC knew his stuff. Low. Slow and nothing fancy for the first time out.
And did not raise the landing gear.

I watched Doc take to the air...it was AWESOME! It would also be awesome if DOC can come to our CAF Air Show in September! We are only about 159 driving miles apart.

In about 2003 or 2004 I was fortunate enough to get to Wichita and see Doc being restored. My dad and i had some business there and the only time it would work out was on a Saturday morning, it was about a 500 mile drive and we left Friday evening at 6:00 pm after work and got to Wichita about 2 or 3 am i think?
It was a long drive but we lucked out after our prior business we were able to go to Boing and see there progress. It was neat to watch the 70, 80, 90, year old people still working on the plain. the work they did was amazing and they were all craftsmen. I wish I had more time there because there was so much to learn from them.
