WANTED: Local & known MASTER & SLAVE CYLINDER repair for clutch and throttles

Post by DDTrustee » Wed Feb 28, 2018 11:16 am

Who does repairs on slave and master cylinders (clutch and throttle)? Most brake guys don’t want to mess with the clutch and throttle master and slave cylinders or are not equipped to do the work. Local guys that you know of or have used also wanted – phone numbers and addresses please. I know about Apple Hydraulics and White Post, the high dollar spreads. Anyone else?

Send PM please.

Carps power brake in Ca. They did Halftrack booster for me and others. Great work at a fraction of the cost of the high end companies.

the clutch and throttle cylinders are small hydraulic cylinders - not large hydrovacs....do they do those too?

The two cylinders in the halftrack hydravac unit are about 1 1/4” and 1/2”. They had no issue with either.

I used them for my Series 3 hydrovac on the M20 and they did a great job, but I don't know what they do for small, weird seals like you see in a M20/M8 throttle system though. I don't know what type of seals are in my Bendix slave.
