Would love to get hold of an original gen-regulator GPW bond strap, if anyone has one then please let me know so I can swap the MB one off!

Oh.... you mean the GROUND STRAP from genny to regulator?

It's called bonding in aviation which is where I use the term usually, do you have one chuck?

If you dont get one from down under I have a pile of used ones, Million buck question, how do I tell a GPW one from the 30 or so in the pile? Cant tell by looking at the pictures from below.

I will check and let you know if I have an original...but I used the one that came in my VWOM kit some 16 years ago on my GPW...

This is likely the Ford GPW drawing of the bond strap you are looking for. (drawings from the TheHenryFord.org found recently by Bill M.)
