Converto wheel
Hi all.... I posted this in the trailer section, but putting it out here too. I have a nice Converto I am going to finish painting and lettering to my 42 GPW. It has one original wheel and one regular combat wheel. Hoping to find an original converto wheel with the re-enforcement. I have a pattern to make one supplied by a very helpful member, and another wheel, but nothing solid yet. Thanks all. I am in Western WA, by Olympia. Steve

There was also a guy making the inner rings, I bought a few sets from him a couple years ago. O just use regular combat rims, which were used too.

Re: Converto wheel
Blitz.... swooped up Dexter's (Macaddict) wheel. It is in very nice shape. He is bringing it to Tower Park next month. I am hoping Ron will be attending, I sent an email to see if Dexter could drop the wheel off with Ron. My father in law lives close to Ron's shop, so I could pick it up later.
If Ron isn't attending, and anyone around the Medford area is attending, can you let me know? Trying to get the Converto wheel to Medford. Thanks! Steve
