I do have a genuine GI Issue top with the grommets made for the application, am familiar with them.

Are the grommets correct" The acid test is that the GPW Push Button Locking Studs will grip the grommet in place.

The Grommets along the front of the A-3216 and its GPW counterpart along with the ORD #7721446 post war Top all are made to fit the MB/GPW. Willys Part No. is A-3113. It is also described as EYELET, ORD# 106475, Gov't Stock #H00211740 Push button fastener, Br (brass)black, 3/16" long barrel (top cover to windshield)

The 10 Studs at the top of the windshields are known as FASTENER, aka WO-A-4120, and GPW 352692 S-15. All the studs are supposed to fit the same grommet on all of the G-503 Tarps.
I will post pics of the MB and GPW Studs later.
