I wanted to report that along with a top and side curtains for my '44 MB I have purchased a high quality Ford style top for my '43 GPW from Farrell Fox. I'll include some photos he sent me of the top before he shipped it. He uses the correct HBT material for the edging and the correct C-clamps on the end of the straps. Also, the pattern is also correct.

I highly recommend Farrell Fox to anyone looking for a factory correct MB or GPW top and side curtains.

My GI Issue Jeep Top has Barrel Grommets that are a snug fit for a 5/16" Drill Rod, the major O.D. of the studs in the pic is 0.312" The ID of the grommets has to match the studs. 5/16"=0.3125".

Anyone know where to find these 5/16" I.D. eyelets or Grommets? Friday Canvas used the originals on his tops.

Why don't you contact Farrell Fox to see who his source is. He may have an extra set to sell you.
