I came up with this idea while I was laying on the ground watching the mule drive off, I thought for a few seconds that it was going to come back around and run over my ass! :D

I know some of my friends have had close calls while loading/unloading their mules or while operating their mules from a standing position and this would give the operator a quick way to kill the engine in an emergency. I was lucky, my mule stalled before it made a complete circle!

That is a REALLY GOOD IDEA! Every time I back my mule into my pickup truck bed I am going up almost 33" in about 7' of ramp. I got some arched steel ramps that are 14" wide but I still get a good 'pucker factor' when I am either loading or unloading my mule.

Just a followup, I go in tomorrow morning for rotator cuff surgery, it was completely torn.

Rotator cuff surgery was a success, although the tear was a lot worse than when I had the same shoulder repaired 10 years ago. They had to install some screws in the bone to re-secure the tendons. 4 weeks in this harness and then 6 weeks of physical therapy.....then the knee replacement!

Glad to hear that at least it was something they could fix Chuck. Take it easy and heal right so you don't have to go back to fix something you screwed up. As for the physical therapy, I understand that it is very necessary but dang, does it have to hurt so much? I am convinced that PT stands for Pain and Torture. One session it hurt so bad I thought I was going to scream and the lady asked "does this hurt?", I answered 'and you didn't know the answer to that question before you asked' . She just smiled....
