Check the size of the picture and if too large reduce it in one of your programs that does that. Preview for Mac and ? for *PC.

* I used to know PC but for some reason I left it and now can't remember what I used. Doh! :o

Rhinomil,

This is what a correct early slat radiator looks like. It has three ribs, the third rib is in midline with the fill hole on top. A Ford GPW radiator looks similar, but the third rib is to the outboard/left side of the fill hole, thus not in line.

The Slat 3 rib radiator was used up until MB 108452. That DOD was around 01 Jan, 1942.

Was that the date when the air deflectors changed, according to Nabholtz, and not necessarily the radiator? I have evidence of a 5 tab radiator with turn up swaging in the tabs and with plain sides in a mid December Willys MB. We have to remember that Willys was an assembly plant and subcontracted to more than one supplier for components.
