looking for some real world dimensions

Post by orntar » Mon May 16, 2011 10:38 pm

i am starting another dragon 1/6 jeep build soon, and the kit did not come with an engine.

i would like to scratch build one. i have lots of pictures, but no reference dimensions.

can some one out there post the over all width, depth, and heigth of a real full size engine block so i can scale accordingly? thanks.

Fellow modeller here. I get my first Jeep in about a week. If no one helps out I could stuff my tape measure into the engine compartment and get some rough dimensions for you. Pix as well, if you need them. Tamiya's new tool 1/35 is pretty good and has a good engine compartment that's filled out quite nicely. Let me know.
