Something new for the Humvee
I was waiting to see if the guy could get into the vehicle without a ladder.

Maybe Apple made your current phone not work so you have to buy a new one.

Those metal cleats look like they'd be bad for tires.

Re: Something new for the Humvee
They didn't show that thing under the HMMWV or the things bolted to the wheels.
That loose anti-rotation change. If a stick would get wedged in the lower track, that entire thing will damage the HMMWV before the chain got tight. The front tracks would just slam up into the body.
Also, it part 2, look how much faster the wheels are spinning for the speed the truck is moving. I wonder what the RPM are like compared to the same speed on tires.

Re: Something new for the Humvee
There is another video that shows the guy bolting on the other stuff and I was wondering as you are about a gear ratio change from the wheels to the tracks. Lower is better? Probably if the vehicle were actually carrying a couple thousand pounds in the bed to do some work in a remote area. Making it optimized for an empty vehicle to go fast on snow like a race truck would surely limit potential buyers.Action wrote: ↑Fri Jan 05, 2018 1:55 pmThey didn't show that thing under the HMMWV or the things bolted to the wheels.

Their website has technical specs. 15-30 mph on snow depending on depth. You may need to shift the tcase into low but the tracks are 1:1. 40mph on hardball, limited to 10 miles.
These are designed specifically for snow. Driving on other surfaces probably shreds the track rubber fast.

For the person with to much money!!!!! or just buy a used Russian tank or used tank much cheaper and a hell of a lot more fun then spending 30 hrs hooking all those chains and drilling all the mount holes.

Re: Something new for the Humvee
I would rather have the Mattracks. Just take wheel off, put on track.
