Also, if you want to mount the net system on a 2-door, there is a rack that goes above the cab. On the slantback, you could store the net or tire on the hatch with the hatch net.

That would make sense. I have both tailgates, and I have both the airlift rear bumper and the Rhino rear tire carrier. My rear hatch door also has the footman loops on it. That helps me decide, Thank you!

Dilvoy and I both have new green nets for the hatch.

So do I. I got one from 'the Old Grouch" gentleman in Georgia last week. What would be a good sized camo net to acquire to fit in it and look nice under that netting?
Thank you.
Thank you.

I used to carry mine on my hatch.
2 separate bags. (1) with the poles and supports, and the other was the Camo netting in it's original carry bag.
I'll see if I can find some old pictures.
I can take a picture of both bags for you and send them to you if you PM me your email addy.

Thanks Urban.
I have thought about just folding the camo and putting it under the cargo net, and try to some how fit the poles to the tailgate using the strap, but I have no current information on how much room I would have between the tailgate and the Rhino spare tire carrier.

The top of the tailgate is 3" from the back of a big bolt on the carrier.
The middle of the tailgate (recessed) is about 4 1/2" from the back of the carrier.
This is WITHOUT a tire on it.
The pole bag is roughly 11" - 12" wide.
The net bags are roughly 4' x 2' x 6" - 8".
You could strap a couple pole to the tailgate, but then you need the spreader bars and tent stakes, etc that go in the bag with the poles.
Since the Rhino lift bolts to the bumper, the room you have is basically jusr from the tailgate to the back edge of the bumper. (without a tire)

Thanks Jason, that is good useable info for me. I have previously thought that I would have to carry the 'misc' items inside the hatch, but that info you just gave me made me think I may not even be able to mount enough poles to the tailgate. It seems I may have to wait until I actually get these items mounted. I am 'serial' list maker and I like to make drawings and I often get ahead of myself. Thanks again for the info. It gives me a direction.

Re: TM info for camo screen on M1026
I have been following this thread and received the pole setup this week. Its a lot bigger than I thought it would be. Still debating which net size to get and where to store it all. Does anyone have a pic of one of these complete kits (net and poles) stored on or in a M1025/slantback?
HMMWV. Always looking for an APC.

Re: TM info for camo screen on M1026
have acquired an original pole bag with all the poles, stakes and 'spreader' tops.
I am looking for an original camo bag in the camo/green coloring, and am interested in knowing what square foot size net will fit in the 4' x 2' bag that Jason described. The 'Old Grouch' has two different sizes of original style camo netting, but I am having a hard time contacting him.

The bag would have a 28' x 32' hexagon net as well as a smaller diamond. There will also be a repair kit bag and strings of clips to hold nets together. The diamonds are used to fill in the holes when hexagons are attached to each other. I can email you pics of the nets in my driveway

Just an FYI from experience, "Old Grouch's" is very hit or miss trying to contact. I usually just order from him and it gets to me pretty quickly.RockHillWill wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2017 3:16 amhave acquired an original pole bag with all the poles, stakes and 'spreader' tops.

You can try messaging him on here or on Steel Soldiers but like Action said, the netting is stored in its own bag and the support system is stored in its own separate bag.
