The extended nose trucks have the 9K winch plate and frame extensions.
Your current MM winch plate won't work....to short
MM supposably makes an extended front one, but never seen one on this planet.
IbisTek bumper can bolt up to the 9K plate.

A friend just completed a ecv conversion on his truck and mounted a front winch. His however, is a Warn winch if that makes much difference.

I want to stick with MM but I called MM and they said they still carry the extended plate and the mounts. Which I'm waiting on a price. Would a time know where I can get the grill and the hood insert for a fair cheap price? I work for a body shop so for doing the mod on the hood. Shouldn't be hard.

There are at least 2 of the grills on eBay right now.

I see them on eBay but I'm looking for the armoured grill. So I'll waiting patiently when one pops up. But thank you

Your talking about the armoured grill that's on the hood. I already have one of those. I was talking about the armoured grill where the headlamp mount too. Sorry for the confusion.

The ECV nose grill is not armored.
Its a wire screen.
Armored grills are on the non-ECV hoods

But do they make an armored grill for the stub nose? So at least I know and stop looking for something that doesn't exist. Thank you

There is a grille in the extended ECV and REV Section and a grille in the top of the hood. For the Extended section, it would have that black wire mesh that is soldered together that looks like one of those "Strut" grilles that people would put on cars to make them look like a Bentley or something fancy. The hood grilles would have the aluminum slat covering with I guess Seven slats and they mesh below that. That is what I have seen as made, but things can be swapped around later.
Earlier vehicles could have mesh in the front openings of the hood or the heavy slatted steel armored setup and they would have had either of two grilles in the hole in the top of the hood. They look the same from the outside and are made of aluminum, but the SA type has thicker ribbes that extend farther downwards. Later Humvees with the standard hoods used the mesh in the upper hole and a crappy fiberglass slat covering with maybe five or six slats.

There is not an armor grill for the stub nose between the headlights. You could fit a normal hood armor grill for between the headlights there but ECV were not fitted with them. The armor grill I speak of is made of steel and was used on TOW missile truck IIRC. If you want one, I have a NOS unpainted one new in box.
