Anyone converted a 998 to a serpentine belt set up?

Good to know - can you elaborate on what I would need to accomplish this conversion?

OK. What engine would be correct for sourcing these bits and pieces?

Your copying a 6.5na...new style....there are 2 versions, new and old style serpentine, your going to have to look in the TM for the parts breakouts. New style has remote mounted PS reservoir.

Will the turbo parts bolt up to a n/a motor?
If so, I guess a different belt would be needed due to head holes in slightly different locations (relative to crankshaft pulley)?

There aren't per sey Turbo parts...as the engine blocks are the same, a late style serp setup from an NA is the same as Turbo, except for the remote PS bracket, they are different.

Looks like the top pic has the alternator-

Does the package without the alternator have an alternator pulley in it? I cannot tell.

OK - I have a serpentine red dot a/c kit for HMMWV. Currently my HMMWV is v-belt configured. Question - does the compressor run in the opposite direction for the serpentine application like. The water pump or could I just change pulleys on the compressor and make it v-belt compatible?
