M1151 front widows and air vent
Ok so I sourced the plastic duct that runs across the top of the metal dash in the V. Problem is my armor Windows sit too far inside the truck for it to fit.
The back of my front widow sits nearly flush with the center window diveder. These are much further forward and appear to be the same Windows I have.
Secondly. I need the black U shaped radio mount bracket for this dash. Anyone have one or the part # for it?

The pic is M1151 windows, maybe you have 1114, they have a different offset. I also have a NOS set of the correct 1151 windows available if you end up needing them.

Re: M1151 front widows and air vent
The windows you have installed sound like they would be for the 1114,
M1114, Windshield non-heated left side NSN 2510-01-435-9690 right side NSN 2510-01-435-9693
M1151, Windshield non-heated left side NSN 2510-01-535-6001 Part number 12512206-1 right side 2510-01-535-6000
Windows for the 1151/1152/1165/1167 all have the same offset. As you can see in the pictures, the larger part of the offset is the threat side on the 1151 and subsequent. It makes the windows sit out past the frame, The 1114 windows are just about even with the front side of the frame.
Hope the pictures help, have a good one.

Re: M1151 front widows and air vent
So those look like the exact same frame on the 1151. All they did is turn the glass around and face it the other way in the frames. Seems like any easy swap to me. Pita but whatever.
The open side of the frame that you install the glass into now faces front in the truck. Also I notice from you picture that these frame have a foam gasket material that faces front. This seals them against the backside of the armor I suppose?

You got it Brother, the seal on the outside mates to the windshield retainer.
I am looking for a set of retainers myself.

Re: M1151 front widows and air vent
Hey Jason, here are the dims for the M1151 and subsequent heated and Non-Heated windshields.
M1151, Windshield non-heated left side NSN 2510-01-535-6001 Part number 12512206-1 right side 2510-01-535-6000. The windshield has a gasket around the front (threat side) that mates with the late MOD retainer system. A standard, non armored window gasket is placed around the lip that sticks out in the picture between the 1 3/4" and 5/8th" dimensions.
I'm looking for the Windshield retainers depicted in the picture below.

Re: M1151 front widows and air vent
Would the ibis tech knockout windshields have the same issue hitting the plastic defroster duct on a m1151?

The M1151 & SUB, IVEE will not interfere.
The IVEE windshield Kit NSN: 2510-01-560-7672 will not interfere with the forward air ducting (Black Plastic with round vents).
IVEE Egress Window Driver (Left) NSN: 2510-01-560-7677
IVEE Egress Window Passenger (Right) NSN: 2510-01-560-7680
Currently, there are three window assemblies that are designed for the 1151 and subsequent. The ones listed earlier in this thread Heated and Non-Heated and the IVEE.

M1114 IVEE, Vs. M1151 IVEE: Different National Stock Numbers.
Note: The M1114 IVEE has different NSN's than the IVEE for the M1151 and Sub.
If installing IVEE in an M1151 with Black Plastic Air Ducting (Round Vents) make sure you have or source the NSN listed in my last post.
M1114 (IVEE) Windshield NSN's
Driver, 2510-01-552-0620
Passenger, 2510-01-552-0624
KIT, 2510-01-552-0617
Should have added this in the last post. Hope this helps.

BAE Systems made some of these removable windshields, too. I got the installation booklet from work. They had their own glass plant there in Ohio.

M1114 windshields and M1151 are totally different. The M1114 does not have the metal surrounds just thick glass with a full rubber seal around them.
