So I soaked some alodine on some aluminum plate that I had cut. Doesn't appear to have a drastic effect visually. Most the coloring washed off when I rinsed it. Mostly took off the shine on the aluminum. I had it soaking for 10 minutes. I tried three minutes at first and it didn't appear to do much. Does that sound like what I should expect for results?
