Old post but was thinking more clarification is available on this. Difference between 10.1 and 12k hubs is just the gears. Difference between 12k and rev is also a different set of gears. So can you make rev equivalent hubs from the 10.1k? Or putting it a different way, I have a 92 m998. Can I just swap out some gears and spindle to make it just like the rev hubs or is the whole body casting actually heavier and different?

All of the steering geometry is unique in the REV. The steering arms on the hubs are different, too. I can look for a casting number on a hub after work.

Different steering arms for all 4. For both geometry changes and spindle nut hub clearance. Gears are helical cut. Everything else is the same as 12k.

So I could take my 10.1k hubs, swap out steering arms, and gears and I have a rev hub? And maybe change out spindle to a ctis type but plug it. The rev hubs are typically ctis style but with ctis plugged off?

Is there a parts diagram out there for them? Or are they alpha civi equivalents? My TM just has a single part number for the entire rev hub.
