On July 4th in Morgan Hill
Once again, the MVCC will make a showing in this parade. This parade in Morgan Hill has the small-town parade flavor with a huge number of spectators viewing it. This year’s theme for their parade is “America’s National Parks, 100 Years and Counting”. Usual attire has been the wearing “Hawaiian" shirts over OD or without OD shirts is encouraged. Staging for our group is usually in the parking lot, just off of Depot Street. WE NEED TO BE ONSITE BEFORE 9 AM. If you get their later than 9 AM, the road closure folks, may not let you get to our staging area. (They still may, so it pays to try) Weather is usually HOT, so plan accordingly. The parade route map from their website, does show the parking lot, we normally stage in is just off Depot Street. The website for parade is https://www.morganhillfreedomfest.com PLEASE look over their rules for participants. It is also important to BRING a small fire extinguisher for your vehicle. POC is JoAnn Lesser, mamalesser@yahoo.com or upon arrival at parking lot area look for Kim Sievert for directions and squadding. We also go over to a "In and Out Burger" for fine food and cold beverages after the parade. For any late breaking news, please check our MVCC forum in G503.com
Bring a small fire extinguisher, for your vehicle, its required per parade rules.
Sometimes other events for MVCC members to participate in, are forwarded to me, without enough time for publishing in our newsletter. Please regularly check our MVCC forum in G503.com for them.

Re: 4th JULY Parade in MORGAN HILL
Hear Yee, Hear Yee
Parade attendees bringing vehicles,,,,,,,,,
I have been asked, if there were any vehicles that could accommodate extra riders.
I know we can take a few, but I have no idea how many spots would be open.
If you know that you are going make it and you have room for a extra passenger(s), let me know via PM or G503 PM to me or post it in the MVCC section in this topic.
So far Lynn Smith has asked me and another person has called me, to see if any seats were available.
Sooooooooooooooo
Let me know, if you can take an extra person(s), via a G503 PM to me or post it in the MVCC section, in this topic
UPDATE BELOW
Let me know, if you want come and ride in a truck, via a G503 PM to me or post it in the MVCC section in this topic.
I will post here, any info I get, via PM's.
thank you

Re: 4th JULY Parade in MORGAN HILL
Here Yea Here Yea
UPDATE
John Amaral is bringing his deuce 1/2 to the parade.
He has no passengers, as yet, so I would say anyone who wants a ride,,,,, can,,,,,,,, "come on down".
NOTE there is no civilian vehicle parking where our group meets, so parking might be a little fun and you may will need to walk some.
Streets to parade prep areas, will be blocked off to civy vehicle traffic, long before 9 am.
Military Vehicles in place by 9 am
Parade starts at 10 am
Bring a small fire extinguisher, for your vehicle, its required per parade rules.
