Artic Cab/Heater for WC62/63
I know this is a long shot, but does anyone know where I can get a Artic Cab and/or Heater for a WC62/63? The heater does not have to be WWII if someone has installed a aftermarket one.

Re: Artic Cab/Heater for WC62/63
Hello,
The arctic kits were developed and tested at end of WWII, but it does not mean that they were actually issued. At least photographs of WWII vehicles actually used in cold environments (Winter 1944, or Korea) normally shows improvised solutions.
The hardtop WC arctic cab was issued early 1950's. The softtop WC arctic cab seems to be based on the WC64KD cab, but also issued in the 1950's.
The cab heater used in the kit was a gas fired Southwind 978. These were available in 6-12-24V versions, and these pop up on ebay from time to time.
There were also various cooling water based heaters used, installed by both US and foreign armies.
