That's perfect! Thank you Brian. I just need to find some aluminum plate to work with and I can make one up. I'll figure out something for the pins as well.

Cheers,

Hmmmm...I know where some newer stop signs are...

Good Idea, I have seen a few for sale before on Craigslist.

Thanks!

weve decided to revisit installing a -193 in the carryall. and am desperately trying to find an excuse, not to run the interconnect cord through the J-box. like it shows in all the manuals. but no luck in finding a 1-piece cord. I just cant believe they didnt make up a one piece cord for that. for all the vehicles that didnt need intercoms.

Hmmm...I like that configuration. Makes a lot more sense than the way I did it, but no one will notice or care other than here on the forum. May be a project to change it over some day.

I mounted up the CH60 radio cabinet doors today. Actually doesn't look too bad. The hinges and the eye bolt locks work great. Nice and tight. I was a little worried about rattles, but that won't be an issue. Still need to find a rod to insert through the eye bolts to lock it up with a padlock like the originals:

I also thought it was a good time to sign my work. Still a number of things to do to complete the WC16, but what the hey...eh?

I knew you had a command car but I just now stumbled on this thread and read through your progress. Great work! Seems like a lot has happened since working on Iris in your garage before building your shop. I feel like you've nearly completed four or five project in the time it took me to finish my chassis. Thanks for posting your progress on your projects.

Hi Jake,

Yes, as a weekend warrior I can get motivated to get things completed on occasion. It's really sad how our jobs can get in the way of really getting in some gold solid progress! 8)

I see what you mean about the wing nuts. all you can find is those stupid looking rabbit ear, or mickey mouse ear, things, guess they dont make the flat butterfly anymore.

might have to file something down.

I also figured out the 90 deg. bracket is supposed to have a slot in it so you can pop the rod out, with out having to tip the radio all the way forward to get it out.

Yep on the wing nuts. I scrolled down on the link, but couldn't see the slot, but it does make sense to have a slot. May be my eyes...

looks like the slot is cut at a 45 deg. angle up from the bottom to the hole. took me a while to figure it out,

scroll through these.

Zeph,

Does the wc ignition switch have 2 or 3 wiring points on the back. I am assuming since the wc12 has a floor starter switch I need a 2 terminal ignition switch only, but the wiring diagram seems to indicate 3 poles. What did you use on the CC.
