Not mine. Probably one of the last left overs from the Galliano Winery fleet in Jurupa Valley, (pronounced HOOROOPAAH). :) https://www.ebay.com/itm/Military-Vinta ... SwSwVabntZ.

If you look close at the front view photo with the water cooler on the bumper and zoom in on the passenger side door it is a Filippi winery truck, they have been in business since 1922.

Its just a few miles north of the Galleano winery, I got a request to look at the old girl at their winery store but haven't heard back yet about viewing before bidding. It looks kinda picked over, I'd like to look in the engine compartment. Also, there were 2 other G506's there with modified cargo beds to haul more grapes, the sides are twice as high as the normal cargo bed.

Cool little history about the place talking about using WW2 surplus trucks in the vineyards...

Drove my G506 over to the winery to check it out and spoke to Joey Filippi and unfortunately he had already sold it. He told me somebody in Corona, Ca bought 2 trucks with that being one. He had just forgot to remove the Ebay listing.

The tid-bit Filippi told me is that the new owner was going to mount that cab onto a modern chassis to make it capable of going modern speed without chopping up a WWII veteran! Bravo Zulu to him! Most attempts I've seen go the long/ expensive way by upgrading the old chassis components until it is unrecognizable.

Maybe he/she will want to barter with the old take off power train items...either way hope their project goes well! Hope to see them at Cars and Coffee at the Saleen headquarters by the 91 freeway when its done!!!
