The fun of private bidding, someone has been bidding in 10$ increments for hours. Either a badly set sniping tool or people having a laugh.

Hmm....5/16" or 3/8" would make a big difference in price (early vs late). Still, $611.00 is stupid money but if you don't care what you are spending for what appears to be a rather rare item (if they ARE 5/16") or a kinda, sorta rare original item...whatever...

IMO, these are older repros from the late 1990’s. I have an older set myself and they are identical to these. In fact, I bet if I had left them outside in the elements for the last 20 years or so the patina would match the ones in the eBay auction.

The markings on my original pair are not as crisp.
