Unusual Jeep Salad $300 (Fulton, Missouri)

Post by gerrykan » Mon Dec 04, 2017 6:49 pm

I do not own this.
This must have had an F-head conversion.
It appears they used the hood and part of a CJ3B cowl butted up to the CJ2A windshield, and added metal to fill the space over the CJ2A grille.
There also appears to be column shift parts still on this Jeep.

Is this known as a Willys high hood,? i have heard that phrase used before, and this seems to fit the picture.

forward of the windshield, it LOOKS like a high-hood. But if you look close, MAYBE the cowl is a true 3b part, but I doubt it. It looks like all 2a parts that were modified.

Google CJ3B, that's a high hood.

The cowl is a low one, if you look at the pic taken from the back you can see the regular windshield still on, now locked up
