Looks solid. I'd love one of these but they seem to be ridiculously scarce on the east coast! The west coast always has the best toys in the most solid condition

Asking prices on 1/2 tons have been going crazy lately
the truck looks solid, the bed is definitely a WC3 or WC4 bed, Early D rings and drill for the tranverse seats
The chassis, without seeing the serial number is probably a WC4
The cab is military, 2nd series. T211, early gauges with a junction block
There have been dozens of trucks listed as WC12s in the last year, that never were, most had civilian cabs, or winches
I think there are more WC12s now then they ever made lol
if the engine is correct, T207 or T211 and the truck has been mechanically rebuilt, Brakes, well bearing, wiring etc has all been done correctly $18,000 is not too far out of the range they have been priced at
For me personally, for that type of money, they sheet metal should be almost perfect and the truck a true turn key
for a purist, it is not a correct truck, as there were never closed cabs with winches.
As you are finding out in your meticulous restoration, you really can't completely rebuild/restore a truck for much less

Thanks for that information. I learned a lot reading your post. I think the civilian Dodge market has drug these up a bit as well. Time for Barrett Jackson with the WCs huh?
