WW2 British Paint
Does anybody know a source for that early WW2 British brown/olive drab used early war ? Or does anybody have reference number to make that color ?

Re: WW2 British Paint
I have a 1944 Austin Light Utility, popularly known as a "Tilly"Originally these were turned out in SCC No 2 Brown
Faced with the same problem of finding a code, after much searching, I gave up and had a batch made.
Although not strictly correct, I chose a satin finish which holds its colour better than Flat Drab.
If you PM me, I can send you a colour swatch and you can try to have it matched. Some paint suppliers have spectrometers which can analyse a colour and give a formula. I have a stock of paint, but I guess sending it through the post would be a No No.
I assume you have tried Auto repair shops and their suppliers, who will invariably ask for impossible details, without which their mixing machines and computers won't work.
I can try and ask my manufacturer if they would be willing to let me have their mixing formula, but somehow I doubt whether they will be forthcoming - but if you don't try - you don't succeed.
Cheers
