Toyota "BJ"
Rather good looking classic lines from the copycats isle, lots of improvements over the MA here.

Re: Toyota "BJ"
Looks like a mutant MA Quad mix. Not sure about the looks. The MA and the Bantams look great but this thing.......well just not for me. How many are remaining? What are the improvements? I have seen photos of a green restored one in modern times so i think at least one exists. Cool pic.....Sean.

Sean, it sure looks more like a Quad and I believe there's still many around. BJ being the precursor to the FJ series, I venture the improvements are stronger and more rigid components as well as the drivetrain being beefed up. I concede it may lack in the looks department a bit. I think I know the green restored one you are talking about.

Yes...that green one is the exact photo i have seen. If anyone knows what these things sell for or how many are remaining post it. I know after the war the USA prohibited US car companies from selling cars in Japan because we wanted them to have a economy building industry and we chose auto manufacturing. Look like the did pretty good with it....Sean.
