NOS GPW LONG CHASSIS WIRING HARNESS

Post by Joe Gopan » Sat Mar 17, 2018 7:28 pm

Have NOS WWII Issue FM/GPW 14401 Long Chassis Wiring Harness. (Used w/ Dimmer Switch WO 12056 FM-G8T13532 w/closed type terminal).
The cloth insulation is still in perfect shape, colors are bright and not faded, and best of all, the real thing with no substitute terminals.
Am interested in trading this GPW long Chassis Harness for hard to find CCKW/MB Parts.

Here's the harness, I have saved these since the 60's. Keeping one as a spare, they are for trading only.

It's hard to tell from the picture; are the "closed type terminals" the "bullets", or the "rings" as they're referred to now-a-days? I can't look up the dimmer switch right now. Is this the later one with the trailer socket wires, or early pre-trailer wires harness? It looks like I see the green trailer wire with two white tracers (which to me proves it's a Ford part because the MB's appear to use black tracers on that wire). I'm still trying to sort out a couple of differences in wires and harnesses that were used throughout production by Willys and Ford. Thanx Joel!

I'll have to check it out a little more. is factory GPW and does have the terminals for the type Dimmer Switch Ford installed.
It's genuine GPW and not a reproduction.
