FS: ALLISON STEEL RECONDITION PLATE

Post by Chuck Lutz » Wed Feb 21, 2018 1:23 pm

I have a March 1945 date stamped Allison rebuild plate for sale. It has paint on it and I have never disturbed it but no visible damage to any of the markings and the four mounting holes are intact. This thing is made of STEEL and is pretty heavy....not like other aluminum or brass tags used in some instances.

Allison Steel Manufacturing = made from STEEL...guess they had enough and they had the stamping die to emboss it...

First email to me with "I'LL TAKE IT!" and it's yours....$100.00 includes shipping in soft bubble wrap postal bag if stateside. Overseas, you pay the difference.

THIS HAS BEEN SOLD.

Hi Chuck;
I'm very interested for my VEP that still has the 4 screws on the dash for "a" rebuild plate.

Could you measure yours (plate itself, and hole pattern) as precisely as possible so I can check my dash and know if it's a fit or not?

Thanks a lot!

From center-to-center of mounting holes, my original Allison plate has 5 3/16" and 1 5/16".
