Post by Niblet » Sun Feb 11, 2018 12:13 am

I used electrolysis on this to remove the layers of paint and crud
its very solid and has crisp numbers on it
its bare metal, hence the varying colors to the metal
135.00 shipped,,its heavy!

Exactly what I was wondering? I'm apparently out of touch with prices these days :?: . I do congratulate you, though. You have some nice parts- that voltage regulator is NICE.

Run a search for the bracket number, it is the one that most are seeking.

.....but it's not been proved yet that it's a war time item; or a post-war item, or both; has it?

are you just running your pie hole? or did you read what Lloyd White had to say about it in his books?

I think the most important part of this, is I am happy with what I purchased for the price.

This will go on forever, that part number has been widely recognized for 70+ years.
And, I also observed it in Lloyds Volumes.
Lloyds books are an excellent investment for serious collectors.

No dear sir, I was just asking a question.
Hence the "?" at the end of the sentence.

I am absolutely not at your level of serious collection, sorry to disappoint you......my Jeep didn't even come with a can bracket; see how bad I do

It helps to speak GI lingo to talk correct nomenclature for MV Parts. Lloyds books are a study in GI language and will make referencing JEEP parts in TM's a lot simpler.
