MB T84 and T18 1943 MB Tub & fenders

Post by railroadgoatoat » Wed Sep 14, 2016 12:23 pm

Here is a T84 and transfer I just pulled out of a 1943 MB. Transmission did have water in it, but gears appear to be good and don't look pitted??? Transfer had oil it it and gears look Take $300 for all. Crossmember is not included as it is very bent up. I have several pictures, so if interested send me an email address and I can send lots of pictures.

Also, have lots of pictures of a 1943 MB tub with the fenders. It does need some work but is very repairable. Floor I don't think will need replaced, but sump and tool side will. Look at all the pics before you decide. Send me an email and I will send you probably 20-30 pictures. Fenders look good. $750 for it.

Also, have the frame with both front & rear axles. Comes with the steering box and linkage. NO wheels.Need front and rear horn work and Bubba's excess cut off. $250
IF same person buys tub and frame, $850 total for both.
All located in Illinois.

random question, what's the deal with the tail light in the picture? 2nd or 3rd jeep I've seen with something either the same or similar.

Luke...My GPW had a pair big round, red lensed stop/tail buckets on it also. Probably a civilian attempt to at least be seen driving down the road. It was 12-volt then with a bubba wiring harness. All that is gone now but it is a civvy modification I too have seen on a lot of jeeps.

Sorry to get off-track Sam....

The ones on the tan jeep have a similar hole/bolt pattern as the factory ones do. I wonder if they are Model A/T lights.
