What do I have
First let me say hello as I am new from northern West Virginia.
Now to my question. First my late father in law was in the SeaBee's during WW2 and I have been slowly going thru his shop and have been finding several older tools along with some other US Militaria. He also owned a garage for a while and put 46 years on the B&O railroad so honestly I don't know if some of the things I'm finding are bring backs from the service, things he kept when he sold the garage or something he gathered up on the railroad. So here goes.
Found these Eagle slip joint pliers but the notch has me confused. Also if you look head on they have a "V" like it would be some sort of crimper.
Here are some pics.
Other than the brand marking the only thing I can find is what appears to be MI16 or M116 which is on both halves.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Re: What do I have
I was able to find a patent drawing that matches up, though I was never able to find the patent number on the pliers. But the ones I have only have 2 steps in the adjustment vs the 4 shown in the patent drawing, and the tack claw and screwdriver handle are different but the rest matches up. It appears to have the patent granted in 1913. So I don't know if what I have is pre-patent or post patent modifications.

Sorry for the non-military topic.

Re: What do I have
The Williams 726 is definitely wartime. Plain steel finish and the correct logo. It is a Williams Superior carbon steel wrench. These often have black enameled shanks, but also plain steel. The other wrench, which looks to be an Indestro DROP FORGED SELECT STEEL wrench, is probably wartime as well, and that size (725B) was very common. Neither one is a Jeep or GMTK wrench, though. Not sure what kits they would be from, if any. They're just as likely to be civilian.

Thank you how about these tin snips. As you can tell I'm at his house today so may be asking a bunch.

I don't know anything about those snips, or the name on them, but they don't match WWII era tin snips specs.
Just a suggestion, but it might be more efficient to take photos of 6 or so tools at a time, on a bench. We could more efficiently identify many that are potential WWII and eliminate many that are not, and then focus on the wartime.
Your "EAGLE CLAW WRENCH" pliers ("BOLT-HOLDERS", by patent) were made by the Mechanics Tool Company. That's what the "M T CO" in the triangle stands for. That was the second company that the patentee started to make his invention. And yours with the 45* angle head were patented in 1913, a year after the 1912 patent, which had a 90* head. Like these that I own. Definitely antique era, not WWII.

Will do on taking some groups and then post when home. Just came across this Union Hardware hack saw with USA under the logo. Had a "field repair" some where down the line.

Re: What do I have
The frame on that hacksaw is a dead ringer for the one depicted in the manual. The handle....is hopefully the field repair.

Re: What do I have
At the top of the forum, there are four threads we call stickies. The placeholders look like lightbulbs instead of circles.
Take some time to study and maybe print. Next time you go to the house, you’ll have a better idea on what is “wartime” and GMTS and Jeep related.
There are plenty of other tool kits. Every vehicle had one, and there were lots of different and specialized sets too.
So in the end....pics of groups is good. You’ll start to get the “feel” for what is wartime and what isn’t.
