Hello,

Can you help me to identify theses replacers ? I've not found them in G-27 and other tools manuals...
Perhaps, it's for post-war vehicles...

First one : 41-R-2384-800

second : 41-R-2391-35

I found large quantity of drill handler tool set, made for French army.
In which tools sets can we find these kits ? Small arms repair ? transmission ? Electrical ?

Thank you in advance !

There are quite literally a hundred - pages and pages - of replacers in the May 1947 G-27 Section 1. A few of them look very similar to these (hub bearing grease cup seal replacer, pillow block bearing cup replacer), but the stock numbers do not match. Some of them are very close, though, and some of the numbers are even closer to stock numbers that have been superseded, which are listed in parentheses for backwards compatibility. You may want to acquire a PDF copy from TM-WW2.

Those look like what I would call pin vises, spooky. They are hand-held, the ends unscrew and screw like a drill chuck, and they are used by machinists to hold small round parts (i.e., pins and rods, etc).
TEMPORARY DUTY
