Grease gun find

Post by pfnaak » Wed Jan 31, 2018 1:37 pm

I am quite happy to have found a 5585 grease gun in very good shape for USD 8.00 (but delivery was a lot more expensive).

Nice find! Now all you need is a fire hose nozzle which likely won't be as cheap.

There are several on eBay, but most of the sellers won't deliver to Europe (most of them didn't even answer my request). So I finally found a very gentle one who even refunded me a part of the shipping costs as it was cheaper than expected.

But by the way: Where do I find the fireman nozzle? Are there replicas available?

User FUBAR knocked up a few recently and was taking some orders. I don't know if there are any left. You may want to reply on his thread HERE or send him a PM.

Lots of vintage grease guns on ebay but that one is still a great find.

Be careful, when picking up an adapter for your grease gun: some adapters that have been shown in the past, quite simply DO NOT EXIST
They are just a concoction made out of two different adapters.

Here is the picture of such a fake.
