I found this at a yard sale today,at first I thought it might be a modified pick mattock but the center boss isn't like any I have seen before,I looked on ebay and google and couldn't find anything like it,hopefully someone more familiar with British equipment can tell me what it was for!

Nice find !I think it is a pick associated with the Royal Signals but maybe others units as well.
