Pomade musta been BIG big back then....2:45 and 4:09....or thereabouts, those guys got their do's glued down pat!

Where are the safety goggles and shields on some machines.... we'll never know!

SO TRUE. I noticed the lack of PPE from the start. Must have spent some time in the company infirmary for sure. "You could put a eye out!"

They certainly needed a lot a machinists during the war years.

It shows how safety conscious we are that it's so noticeable when it missing.

I enjoyed viewing again, last time I saw it was as a student at the U.S. Army Ordnance School Machinist Course in 1962. There was something about how those 1940s films were presented, they kept your attention.
