Reproduction Ignition Set Leatherettes For Sale

Post by hell-fire » Thu Nov 23, 2017 11:52 pm

Well as all those who wanted one of these more thank likely wonder what has / is happening.

The guy who makes them had a ton of other higher paying work so he did that first, can't blame him for that.

Also I have had a range of personal family member issues which has eaten my time and this year has gone insanely fast.

Besides the above I have had a health issue which needs to get sorted and in fact I am under the knife on Wednesday Aussie time.

The good news is a package will be leaving here tomorrow to Dons house with 19 of these in side in 2 different sizes in both Black and Brown, I told Don in a email that payment by him to me is not required until after Xmas.

If anyone has lost patience I cannot blame you but for those who wanted them wait for Dons post when the package arrives, I don't think the guy will do these again.

Good news for me the Doctors did their job and I am all good.

Good news is there is a package of these well on the way to Don for distrubution across the US so all those who have waited for so long please look for Don's update.

I would like to thank everyone for their patience regarding this and all the kind and thoughtful PM's I received regarding the surgery, I will try and get back to posting a little more while I am away from work recovering.

Thanks again everyone.

Thanks Gordon,

Resting is what I am doing and it really suits me to.

Good news. The Leatherettes have arrived in the USA so stand by for Dons post for those who wanted them. They look great filled with tools.

The eagerly awaited ignition wrench leather rolls have arrived from down under. The workmanship is excellent and the supply is very limited, especially of the brown and smaller rolls. I understand that it is very unlikely that any more will be made. They are $25.00 each plus 10.25 each for US Priority and Australian shipping charges combined. They will be sold in order of requests made and I would prefer payment by PayPal friends and family in order to avoid PayPal charges. Pictured are my tools in a larger brown roll and a smaller black roll. Tools are definitely not included! Please PM or email.

It isn't often that I run across something that I feel compelled to endorse, but I have to echo Phil in saying that these are really nice and very well done. John/Don, thanks for making this happen.

I bought one of these because I had a mixed set of ignition wrenches but no roll to keep them in. My initial intention was to get the reproduction roll and then sell the mixed set of wrenches.

After seeing the quality of the roll in person, I may have to rethink my initial intent to sell it off. These are really nice. If you have a tattered roll, or missing a roll, I wouldn't hesitate to snatch one up while they're available. The quality is excellent!

Thanks John and Don for making this happen!

Thanks for all the comments everyone, my only regret is the time it took but there was no way I could control that, the main thing is everyone is happy in the lead up to Christmas.

Thanks to Don for for stepping in as the distribution point.
