2nd echelon no.3 set is just the compressor and accessories at the back on right.

Note that charger is 12v and is charging 6v batteries.

Just put two 6V batteries in series, (12V) then charge. Parallel would be bad..(6V) :cry:
remember, smokes expensive! :D .
